For many years now, companies have been recording data in an automated fashion and optimising their business processes. The first new forms of communication, such as e-mails and websites, were introduced almost 10 years ago. The next step taken by many organisations was making information available to customers, staff and partners. After all the evolutions and hypes that have already taken place, there is now a need for creating links between business data, business processes and new forms of communication - in short: integration.

Tri-ennium defines integration as the addition of new technologies and concepts to the existing infrastructure. This makes it possible to make further use of the investments made in the past. Examples of such actions include extending the company network as well as protecting business information and the necessary information systems. With the help of new technologies and concepts, which can be summarised under the term Service Oriented Architecture, Tri-ennium can realise integration for your organisation while maintaining the value of your present investments.

Tri-ennium has divided its integration projects into two different project categories. The first involves System Integration with the aim of sharing data between information systems. Examples are Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Service Oriented Architecture(SOA). The second is Business Intelligence and/or ETL projects intended to provide your users with access to data.
